Leap 16.0: Have Agama (and Myrlin, Cockpit) to be installed explicitely?

“Agama is the new installer that can be used to install Leap 16 and Tumbleweed. There is a plan to support offline installation in Agama.”
https://get.opensuse.org/leap/16.0/?type=desktop

A complete month after release of Leap 16.0 I found no information
if I have to install that Agama thing first of all to install Leap 16.0 with it…

“The easiest way to give Agama a try is to grab a live ISO image and…”
https://github.com/agama-project/agama

About the same with that Myrlin and Cockpit things…
After installation there’s no app for system and software managing…?

Shell not-experienced users do understand that?

The Agama installer is part of the installation image which you download via the first link.

Myrlyn and Cockpit should be installed by default on Leap 16.

“There is no official package available for openSUSE Leap 16.0”
https://software.opensuse.org/package/myrlyn?locale=en

software.opensuse.org is an unreliable source that should be avoided as much as possible. Simply run sudo zypper in myrlyn cockpit from any terminal to have both ready to go. There’s no reason I’m aware of to have the Agama installer installed on an installed system, unless possibly you are an Agama developer.

No. It is installed when one selects KDE and is not installed when one selects GNOME or Xfce, because it is pulled in by the x11 (strictly speaking, by the x11_enhanced) pattern and these patterns are not part of the default Wayland-only GNOME/Xfce.
