Well, all I can really say is - it was 2-3 mouse-clicks to install it and I was using it immediately. Sometimes installing | using Flatpaks is just less of a hassle. And if you contemplate you are only going to test the app, it’s also 1-2 clicks to un-install it and its dependencies.
In another thread (some time ago) we were discussing Cockpit (for 15.6), and an openSUSE Administrator recommended installing the Flatpak version, to avoid potential complications. Click-and-go, as some might say
More info … when you fire up the Cockpit Flatpak, you will be in “user level” mode. Simply click the “Admin mode” and provide credentials, and it will switch to Admin mode.
