kmail

How can I tell kmail to open a link in FireFox. It curently opens konqueror, I have looked in all the obvious settings (I think!)…
Or should I change to another mail client?
I do not need much, no contact manager etc; I am used to Outlook express (:()

I would also like it to look for new mail every x seconds (or minutes)??

Hi
You can set the mail preference in Firefox.
Edit->Preferences->Applications, scroll down to the mailto and set this
to kmail.

I think you can set the mail check times in kmail preferences.

It is my understanding that Kmail uses the system default browser. To change it to firefox from Konqueror. Go to “Configure Desktop” then under Personal, select Default Applications. You can configure your default web browser there. (This is for KDE4)

To enable interval checking, Setting, then Configure Kmail. In the lefthand pane, click on Accounts. Then select the account you want to modify, click on Modify, down near the bottom is a place to check “Enable interval mail checking”. Check that and select your interval.

Thanks for that, job done !

Trumps again rep-points all round ! Thank-you.
