KMail Broken After Tumbleweed Upgrade 2026-01-16

Hi all,

Kmail was broken after I upgraded Tumbleweed on 2026-01-16 (from 2025-12-19).

Emails were stuck in the Outbox - would NOT send them.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to debug. I rolled it back and it came good.

Hi all,

Tried the upgrade to 2026-01-30, however, the problem returns. I have tried a few things without success - mainly port settings etc.

It seems that the Send Later Agent fails to run.

I have rolled it back to 2025-12-19 to restore emails operations.

Where are the mail logs kept?

@pedroSMS Are you running Slowroll or Tumbleweed? 20260128 is the latest for Tumbleweed?

Tumbleweed. Sorry if I created any confusion - the date 2026-01-30, was the date when I did the zypper dup.

Just tested:

  • Create an email
  • Send with 15min delay
  • Message sent correctly at 15min later.

I watched the same annoyances, the tumbleweed machine is not my main computer, so I deleted the imap account and set it up fresh, that solved my problems.

Deleting and adding a new imap account didn’t work either…
