Keyloggers

Hey folks,
Is there a good key logger for OpenSUsE? It’s to track what -->I<-- so. :
Thanks!

I am not sure if this answers your question. The main tools and their managers are:

kwallet -> kwalletmanager
gnome-keyring -> seahorse

The choice of the keychain is made by the application and not the system. So some of the programs use kwallet and other use gnome-keyring

Ah thank you, but this is not what I meant.

I meant a software which would log every key I type on my computer, which could help me keep track on potential ******** that I’d do.

Like a simple software that would record, line by line, everything that is type/happens on the machine and create log files that would be easily accessible in case I *******up something. :wink:

Hi
In a terminal I’m assuming…? If so the history command will show everything, even repeat commands with a !nnn where nnn matches the history output. There are many options see the man page…

If this is for a terminal session, use the “script” command to record a transcript of your terminal session. But that won’t log what you type into a graphic window (other than the one running “script”).

Thanks folks.

No, not only for terminal, but for everything I type. I work on an ERP.
Thanks

A very quick “Google” for “linux keylogging software” returns a large number of hits…

This one looked quite interesting:

I’ve never used, or had need to use, keylogging software, so that’s not endorsement or recommendation :wink:

Spytector is running in total stealth, undetectable even for savvy users – it is the perfect keylogger for monitoring the way your computer is used. You should go and Buy Keylogger like Spytector which is widely considered the perfect keylogger for both home and corporate users. All the monitored activity is stored in securely encrypted log files.
