if in a web page we click on a phone number then a window opens which offers to select the app which will manage this phone url.
In the list of apps there is kdeconnect.
we choose kdeconnect then click on “open link” then on my smartphone the phone app is launched with the phone number as operand.
to get this feature by clicking a contact phone number in kaddressbook we must :
in kaddessbook settings in “contacts action” in “dial phone number”
- select “external application”
- put the following command
kdeconnect-cli --name 'Samsung SM-G930F' --share 'tel:%N'
replace Samsung-G930F by the name of your phone as it is displayed in kdeconnect
