kdeconnect does not pair

Even with the firewall deactivated, I can no longer connect an Android device via kdeconnect. No devices are found. What else could be checked? Or is the problem known?

Regardless of whether, you’re attempting to connect to the mobile telephone from KDE Plasma or, from the mobile telephone to KDE Plasma, both the mobile telephone and the KDE Plasma system have to be visible on the WLAN/WiFi –

  • Check at the WLAN/WiFi Router for visibility of the both the mobile telephone and the KDE Plasma system.

I had a recent issue with an Android mobile telephone where, after a recent “Google” update, the LTE telephone network couldn’t be used for data transfer –

  • After rebooting the mobile telephone, that issue disappeared.

Possibly a similar issue has occurred on your mobile telephone with the WLAN/WiFi interface and, therefore, your mobile telephone possibly needs a reboot to restore the full WLAN/WiFi functionality and connectivity.
