KDE removing of global themes not possible

A few days ago I unfortunately came across a KDE Bug.

It is a known Bug within Kubuntu
as well as in Tumbleweed:
link1 https://www.reddit.com/r/openSUSE/comments/qhnrnq/bug_on_installing_new_global_themes_tumbleweed/
link2 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=439797

Procedure:

When downloading a global theme
the download ends with Dr Konqi saying system settings were terminated unexpectedly.
The theme indeed is installed afterwards. However it is not possible to uninstall.
It is not recognized as Installed. Thus it can be installed (again).
But the error message re-occurs then.

Anyone any suggestions or work-arounds for
->downloading a theme
->uninstalling a theme
in a functional way?

hmm…seems no further informations available :question:

I would also like to contribute my bug report to
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=439797

could someone tell me how to?

Most KDE themes are available from: KDE Store download directly and install.

->uninstalling a theme
in a functional way?

If the uninstall is failing then…

Global themes are located below: /usr/share/plasma/desktoptheme/
User themes below: ~/.local/share/plasma/desktoptheme/

Identify the theme you wish to remove and simply delete it - but do ensure you have the correct one :wink:
