Not sure if this is a bug or not, but the popup menu is now gone.
using KDE 4.4.4 opensuse 11.3.
Anyone with an idea of what go hosed, or needs to be unset? where in the .kde directory is the file that needs to be changed?

Normally I would say you need to right-click on the desktop ⌠But that is your problem.
So, click the Cashew instead, and select âDesktop Activity settingsâ > âMouse Actionsâ. In order for the right-click to work properly, there needs to be be a âRight Buttonâ mouse action which is set to give you a âStandard Menu.â So, if it is not there create it.
If you canât even access the Cashew because it is covered by a panel, try either the keyboard shortcut âAlt+D, Lâ to unlock the widgets, and subsequently set the panel to auto-hide, or try the keyboard shortcut âAlt+D, Alt+Sâ in order to go to âDesktop Activity Settingsâ straight away. (âAlt+D, Lâ means in practice, press and hold Alt then press D, then release both keys and press L.)
On the other hand, check âDesktop Activity Settingsâ > âActivityâ in order to see whether you have actually selected the right kind of desktop âtype.â
Or which menu were you talking about?
woo hoo⌠i just found that on my ownâŚ
