KDE and GNOME with microos

Is it possible to have multiple DEs installed at the same time to switch between them seemlessly? I frequently (3months) switch between them and it would be awesome to have both installed with microos.

@hama Hi and welcome to the Forum
It wouldn’t be supported… neither is dual boot… I would suggest some testing in a Virtual machine starting to see how it goes.

Thank you, I’ll check it out

Of course it is, but the actual question is - is it possible to have DE in MicroOS. If you can install and run KDE or/and GNOME then nothing prevents you from having them both installed at the same time.

I should’ve wirrten a little bit more I guess. With MicroOS I was simply refering to the atomic version of opensuse. It’s a mix of Aeon and Kalpa. GDM?SDDM?

@arvidjaar Sure, but if the uses has an issue, there will be no support (as in openSUSE Bugzilla), dual boot is not supported either, so can’t have Aeon or Kapla.
