iso images

Hello,
I use dvd95 to create images of dvd movies.
Is there an application able to read these files?
I installed acetoniso. I can mount the image but I find no application able to read the content. kaffeine and vlc fail to do it.
Any good idea?

See if you are able to play other DVDs you have (not burnt by you). According to me, the ones prepared using dvd95 should work.

Sorry for my unclear explanation.
I find a way to read iso file. To mount an image and then read the video from the image file I did with dvd95 from various genuine dvd movies.
Is it some more clear?
Thanks in advance

dvd95 can either create an ISO image or a file tree. Both can be read by applications like Kaffine etc. If you are having problems with Kaffine reading it, please check Kaffine with some other DVD to verify.

Indeed, kaffeine cant read iso files (black screen without any error message) nor dvd (error message " missing input plugin for mrl"
Something were missing?

Did you install all proprietary codecs?

I think so.
Is it a way to check?

SMPlayer is able to read iso files, vlc now also (update).
Kaffeine no

If other applications can play those files, then the problem is not with codec update.

changed some repositories priority in yast (packman first).
Now kaffeine can read iso files as well.
Case solved, thank you
