Is there any safe GUI Interface software to change/edit/view samba passwords ?

I was searching around to see in there was an option in Yast to do this
I came across this old thread:

I have come accross 2 web based interface software for linux, but i dont know if they are safe to use from both a security/privacy point of view

Can you give an opinion here as to these 2 bits of software:

Im not looking for web-based interfaces specifically, but If they are the only current options besides using the
linux smbpasswd terminal command - then i would like the opinion of other with experience here
