IPW driver, Live CD?

I have an Intel 4965AGN which just won’t connect to the network, although it sees it, and have searched the forums for a solution, which seems to be installing an “ipw driver” off of the RC1 DVD. I installed 11.0 off of a Live CD, is there any other way I can get that?

The ipw driver worked for the RC1 release, it doesn’t for 11.0 GM. I had
success with the compat-wireless driver at the following url.

Just make sure before you start to compile the driver that you have gcc,
make, and the linux kernel-headers installed.
