Internet Installation method flawed?

Hi, I just installed most of 11.0 from the Internet, but when it got to the final configuration part it suddenly couldn’t find the repo. The dialog reads,

Download (curl) error for 'http://ftp5.gwdg.de…"

Error code: Connection failed

Error message: Couldn’t resolve host ‘http://ftp5.gwdg.de

Obviously the repo worked fine, initially, or else I wouldn’t have been able to download the system. So why does it fail at the end?

Yes, I’ve tried other repos. Does anyone know if the installer is flawed somehow?

Thanks for your replies!

When that happens, press CTRL-ALT-F2, type the following:

rcnetwork restart

and then CTRL+ALT+F7, click on retry… it will finish properly.

Seems there’s a slight error in the way the network connection is handled
during the finalizing of the setup. It save the network settings, but
forgets to turn the back on.

I believe it’s a known problem, just not fixed yet.

Did I leave the Iron on?

Thanks! I just installed on a second machine, and your suggestion worked perfectly. Had to kill some vacation days since posting this question, so sorry for the delay in responding
