My OS opensuse11
Adsl modem speedtouch wired , is always on recommended by my internet provider.
In the past when just use my computer for a game Not on the internet a leave connection to internet alive.
What happens is that after sometimes a can not open any webbpage
If have to take power suplly of the ADSL modem for about 1 minute and restart the computer than I can open every web page again.
Now if do not use the internet I disconnect eth0 than the problem hardly occurs.
But I do not know reason
Can any body help me out
Are u downloading a torrent or some p2p when u leave your connection?
When I leave my ADSL with a torrent it freezes my connection too. Its an ISP thing to disables you from downloading pirated stuff
