I’m in the process of migrating from Ubuntu to 11.1. One of the things I have had to do in the past is blacklist intel_agp as the machine would hang in the past when booting if it wasnt. The main board is a Gigabyte GA-965G-DS3 and it was a known offender a couple of years ago.
My question is for anyone using this chipset if they still have the interesting quirks that happened about 2 years ago or are these now corrected?
