Hello all
I wish to install a full Tumbleweed to a USB stick of 64 GB capacity. I have seen on the forum instructions for creating a live USB boot stick, but what I want is to install
a full bootable working installation to the stick. If all is OK, mainly being able to use WiFi, then I wish to install to a SSD at present containing PCLos which I wish to replace but I do not want to remove PCLos
until after I have run Tumbleweed from USB stick to make sure Tumbleweed suits my needs. If I then install to the SSD how do I tell Tumbleweed to use the whole of the disk for the installation not
install in addition to PCLos ? I have tried installing to a Windows 7 laptop and now I can boot to Win 7 and Tumbleweed, which is not quite what I wanted.
I realise that these questions are rather trivial but as a newcomer to OpenSUSE I would like to be sure before I start.
TIA
Install in the same manner as installing anywhere else, use the expert partitioner to put all the partitions on the USB drive. With only 64G don’t attempt to use btrfs as the file system.
