cpan[2]>

I’ve used this in under Linux.
The problem (back then) was that the WWW modules didn’t include hard dependencies for the MozRepl modules, hence the manual install. My own instructions

cpan WWW::Mechanize::Firefox
cpan MozRepl
cpan MozRepl::RemoteObject

i need your help now…

Hello again

belive me: i have had issues over issues. I tried to install it on opensuse 12.3 and other versions
now i run openSuse 13.1 and it still does fail. Later the evening i will post the issues i get with the installation.

see my trials to install mozrepl and Mechanize FireFox on a opensuse 12.3

well it failed: see full stuff - see here at this link http://pastebin.de/34952

btw - the next time i will gather even more information i will try to capture the full stuff - and later tonight i will let you know more: with the actuall issues.

**Question ** can’ t i create a CD that contains Perl, Mozilla and Mozrepl.

Note - if i have issues over issues -wiht installation on a machine. Isn this the way to go!?

love to hear from you

I DID THE FOLLOWING

i grabbed this file

MozRepl 1.1.2
von hyperstruct, rply
Interactive Javascript Console for Mozilla Applications Developers

from this site .

https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/mozrepl/

used the downlaoder and afterwards this was istalled - trhough the firefox

but i have no glue how to proceeed

which tests can i do - which tests with the terminal to check if i installed it right?

i found this site http://chat.stackoverflow.com/transcript/23922/2013/2/4/23-24

where someone claims that i can do the following test.

add only this line in a file

use WWW::Mechanize::Firefox;

cf: Mooing Duck Does a file containing only “use WWW::Mechanize::Firefox;” work? If not, it’s not properly set up. I’m still researching how to set up perl plugins for you.

well i did this -. but the console gave back the following:

martin@linux-70ce:~/perl> moz.pl
If ‘moz.pl’ is not a typo you can use command-not-found to lookup the package that contains it, like this:
cnf moz.pl

btw : this page is not very clear in its statements
http://search.cpan.org/~corion/WWW-Mechanize-Firefox-0.74/lib/WWW/Mechanize/Firefox.pm#INSTALLATION

i do not know how to install

so what -

plzh advice

i just did it the command intall mechanize firefox via commandline - just see what happened:

http://pastebin.com/5ZkrC2WY

well - i have to study the results… later the evening.

after studying the terminal-output a while i suppose that something went wrong with the installation of mozrepl… what do you say…

Can't locate MozRepl/RemoteObject.pm irn @INC (you may need to install the MozRepl::RemoteObject module) (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.18.1/i586-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.18.1 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.18.1/i586-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.18.1 /usr/lib/perl5/5.18.1/i586-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.18.1 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl . lib) at lib/Firefox/Application.pm line 4.

conclusion - it would be great if we would have a file that fits . i do not (!!!) understand why we need the tricky procedure that is described here…http://search.cpan.org/~corion/WWW-Mechanize-Firefox-0.74/lib/WWW/Mechanize/Firefox/Installation.pod

any ideas how to procced

which tests should i perform - what can i do in the terminal now …

How about you stop wasting everyones time?
Cross post at perlmonks and Stackoverflow.
The instructions are clear, you have not followed them.
Stop making the same stupid mistakes year in year out.

No comment on why you are spamming Perl users and module authors?
