Installing musikcube from source, dependency conflict

For the first time I’m trying to build from source.

I’m building musikcube from source. When I try to install the dependent packages, there’s a conflict between wireplumber-audio-0.4.90-1.1.noarch and ‘pulseaudio’ provided by the to be installed pulseaudio-17.0-3.2.x86_64.

Zypper is giving me two options:

Solution 1: Following actions will be done:
deinstallation of wireplumber-audio-0.4.90-1.1.noarch
deinstallation of pipewire-pulseaudio-1.0.3-3.1.x86_64 Solution 2: do not install pulseaudio-17.0-3.2.x86_64

Is there a way to determine what’s gonna break if I use Solution 1? Will the build work if I use Solution 2?

Thanks

On Tumbleweed pipewire is installed but musikcube needs pulseaudio:

  • opensuse: sudo zypper install libcurl-devel libmicrohttpd-devel cmake ncurses5-devel libogg-devel libvorbis-devel ffmpeg-3-libavcodec-devel ffmpeg-3-libswresample-devel ffmpeg-3-libavformat-devel ffmpeg-3-libavutil-devel libmp3lame-devel pulseaudio libpulse-devel alsa-devel zlib-devel libressl-devel libev-devel libtag-devel libopenmpt-devel
