i was having problems while installing opensuse 11.1 ,with default kernal options…
so i installed it in safemode, but after installing it in default mode, my system is very slow, it gets stuck for 2-3 sec some times,internet connection became slow,…when my systemn is running on battery ,it shows tht my system is running on AC…
i think this problem…is because is disabled ACPI while installing…so,do i install ACPI in my system now…

ACPI isn’t loaded while booting with option “Failsaife”!
Try normal boot and other ACPI Parameters
First you should beginn with acpi=force.
Write that in the bootoption line of GRUB.
If this doesn’t work you can try pci=noacpi.
