installation media weirdness

then, i’d guess you might like the results of removing the old and
adding a new power supply unit (PSU)…a weak, failing PSU can throw up
dozens of symptoms…

before you buy a new one, look to see the watt rating of the one you
have and if you have not added a lot of stuff (hard drives, gamer video,
CD drive, DVD drive and etc which will increase the power requirements,
then buy a replacement about half again as powerful…but, if you have
added consumer, go ahead and make it closer to double the original…(i
mean, i’d guess your came new with about a 250 or 300 watt, so get a
450 or so…unless you have added disks etc, them bump it

hmmm…reading back some i think you probably should have stayed at 11.3
or moved to a lighter, less resource needy system…certainly, i can’t
imagine 12.2 is gonna save your bacon…

can’t answer the video drive issue…
