just like any other program: do NOT go to the maker’s site (like you
might have done with that old fashioned operating system of last century!)
instead
-open YaST Software Management
-in the search box type VirtualBox or virtualbox
-press the “Search” button
-when the list on the right comes up, find
virtualbox VirtualBox is an Emulator (version number)
-single left click the empty box to the left of the package name
-YaST may present a list of other packages (and/or add check marks)
that must be installed to support VirtualBox: Accept the list or VBox
will NOT work
-press the “Accept” button at the lower right
-let it run, do NOT try to abort it or stop it
-if you get an error report that here without killing YaST or shutting
down.
-after VirtualBox has been installed read its documentation thoroughly
as you set it up to fix your needs
Hi, I just installed VBox as your instruction, and I see the interface for creating VM is not same ‘VBoxGtk’. Would there be a problem installing the .RPM from the original download url suggested on there site:
