Install of Disks from OpenSuse Repository fails: No Repository

I have just installed OpenSuse Tumbleweed. I am going through my usual evaluation and the first step was trying to install Disks (gnome-disks) I opened Discovery, pulled up Disks, the page stated Install form openSuse Tumbleweed so I clicked that expecting an easy time of it. But I got an install error “Repository does not exist”

WTH!!! How can openSuse Tumbleweed not have the Repository installed!!!
I could use a workaround please

Have you checked the repo list?

zypper lr -d

I don’t know what you have installed and how, but gnome-disk-utility is there:

I thought I stated: I installed openSuse Tumbleweed with Ventoy

Well I had no boot issues. But I’ll reinstall it from another disk and see how that goes

It is not only about boot issues. Ventoy is so badly coded, that it leaves the initial installation media enabled. This can be seen in your other threads. That means when you remove the USB stick, all tools will complain as Ventoy did not disable the USB media after installation. The USB media is a no longer existing media.

I reinstalled using the USB Live install and Disks installed.
