Initiall Ramdisk Error: "you need to load the kernel first"

So I was updating Leap 15.3 yesterday and was prompted to restart. On restart I got this error:

On continue this prompt cycles. I loaded a read-only snapshot and here I am

It’s a bit hard to guess what went wrong.

You could try disabling secure-boot in your BIOS, and see if it boots then.

Ok so it booted, it flashed something about an ‘Warning… unpriveliged eff…’ or something like that. Is this a security concern or what should I do, I want to be able to turn secure boot back on

Yes, there are security issues.

People disagree about whether secure-boot is useful.

You broke something, but I’m not sure what. Until we can find out what went wrong, best to leave secure-boot off.
