I really don't understand why adding Nvidia repo will brick all my system and snapshots

Just don’t understand anymore I haven’t got successful Nvidia installation to aeon for long time it always bricked my system and snapshots.

Getting only boot loop and dell logo and older snapshots just blackscreen and boot loop.

Following this guide
https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:NVIDIA_drivers
Edited conf file and after installing repo and restart no more boot up no grub only dell logo and constantly looping boot and trying to revert back to older snapshots not working either

Have you submitted a bug?

If I remember I have not sure anymore at least here I have reported it multiple times past 6 months

I will test one possible solution on fresh install later since I can’t get anything out of system now and will check my bug reports

Reporting it here doesn’t get it in front of the developers - definitely check and see if you did in bugzilla.opensuse.org - if you haven’t, I’d encourage you to submit it there.

Proprietary drivers may not get the highest priority to look at, but the devs might have some ideas for things to try based on the information you provide them with.

There is workaround for it, but after that no initrm and no Nvidia drivers loaded after signing keys

Following guide and change some commands

sudo transactional-update run zypper in for the repo and after that sudo transactional-update apply fixes the boot loop issues

Then we come for the issues where I had to install 3 times Nvidia drivers to actually be installed and signed MOK, but still no Nvidia drivers loaded

Trying to figure all stuff now and then make new bug reports for it seems again as old no initrd build, but I will see and test

The NVidia driver keys changed by the looks… there was a post on the Matrix channel. Out of supportable scope on Aeon was the developer reply…

Using measured boot with TPM 2.0 and no secure boot enabled should suffice.

Okey that explains a lot I guess I need to open my ZenBook box and start using Intel only machine and not wait for kernel 6.12+ for better support on it since I am loosing my mind on Nvidia now…
