I just found not only KDE uses Qt

KDE was a top DE for me because only it uses Qt. I could switch to Gnome Qt if there’s a one though. But recently I got a news: KaOS Linux Drops KDE Plasma After 12 Years for Niri/Noctalia to Escape systemd. So, how good is it? Currently I’m on OpenSuse TW with Open Nvidia and Wayland and it’s somehow buggy - have a lot of minor Plasma crashes every day that don’t bother me much but I’m sure it could be way more done in those 15 years of Wayland. MacOs could but wy Linux can’t?

I do not think that is the normal experience of the people here.
You could start with asking her for help to get a stable system.

Asking Plasma?

Soryy, I wrote “her”, but I mean “here” (on the forums, because that is where they are for).

It can be because GPU memory at full usage. Also there’s a black screens problem after a lock screen used - famous issues. I’m just waiting for a stable DE, composers and everything to switch at once.

@psijic If you run the likes of nvtop or nvidia-smi, what is consuming GPU memory?

I have an RTX4000 running the open driver (via run file) memory usage is about 1.0Gi of 8.0Gi available with graphic and compute in use… I’m on GNOME with Wayland.

Usually it’s a fullscreen game.
