I don't think nvidia driver is working?

Hello, I followed this bumblebee instruction completely, and in the end when I run

optirun glxspheres

I can also see the animation successfully.

However I don’t think it’s working for the following reason:

  1. In KDE settings-desktop effect-advanced-compositing type,

When I choose opengl (it is XRender), it says I can’t and I need to check my X configuration.

  1. When I run steam, it says “OpenGL GLX extension not supported by display”, if I do optirun steam, it says

"OpenGL GLX context is not using direct rendering, which may cause performance problems.

Is this an nvidia driver issue or?
