I installed cinnamon desktop, but trashbin do not working. When I am deleting something in Nemo, it don’t working and I have to press shift+delete to permanently delete it. Icon on desktop don’t working too, it says “There is no program associated with the “trash” file. Use the Open With dialog and select the program to open with.”.
Please check the “Nemo” configuration settings – possibly to be found under “Edit” → “Preferences” → “Behaviour” → “Trash preferences” …
There is only an option to disable the basket bidding altogether, but it cannot be activated from this settings
