Hi,
last week I did SUSE Hack Week: Compile games
and brought back a hundred old FLOSS games - not the AAA titles some people mean when they talk about gaming, but fun nevertheless.
As a bonus, they also work on ARM and RISCV machines.

Yes, this is excellent work and please continue your efforts with this if possible.
I’ll try. 15.6 is now down to 49 failed, 30 unresolvable while Tumbleweed is at 83+69 .
I found some nice patches from Debian, Fedora and Mageia that makes life easier.

15.6 is now down to 45 failed, 32 unresolvable while Tumbleweed is at 59+67 .
In the unresolvables, it is mostly about python2 (needs hard porting) and boost_system (pretty easy fix, but need to touch every package)

Can it not work inside a venv or container? 
In principle, yes. Or a VM with Leap 15.6. But IMHO a version that works natively would be the nicest.
Tumbleweed is now down to 50 failed, 67 unresolvable, and 758 succeeded builds.
