Could be anything. Do you have any devices that aren’t working? If not, I would just ignore it.

It is a HP dv6815nr laptop. Everything works except for the internal microphones at the top of the lid. I still can’t figure out how to get them going. I doubt all of that is connected to the microphones though. It is just one of those things that bugs you:D

Yeah, laptops are strange beasts. Seems like manufacturers go out of their way to install exotic hardware that only works on Vista. I did some searching on your mic issue and didn’t find anything. Hopefully someone here can figure that one out for you.
