.htacces file

I’m trying to install eyeOS Cloud computing environment in my home network and it requires entries in the .htaccess file. I do not know where the .htacess file is located or where I’m supposed to create it. I’ve tried to Google it to no avail :frowning: I’m running PHP 5 and Apache2. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
