HP Zbook G5 built-in mic not detected on TW

as above.

As a test, I installed pavucontrol and on the Input tab, it is listing the the built-in mic as disconnected.

As a test, I booted into a Ubuntu live USB and it can detect the built-in mic without any problems.

Any ideas on how to fix?

Can you run qpwgraph. Does that show your built-in mic?

AMD chipset? If so, possibly similar to this one.
