HP DigitalPersona fingerprint reader issue

To all,

I have an HP HDX 16-1160us laptop with a built-in fingerprint reader. This laptop came pre-configured with DigitalPersona software and Windows Vista when I purchased the laptop.

Now, I have installed OpenSuSe 11.2 and removed the Windows partitions from the laptop.

I am having problems getting the fingerprint reader to work now that OpenSuSe is installed.

Are there any options I need to activate or any drivers I need to download to get the fingerprint reader to work with OpenSuSe?

I installed openSUSE 11.2 on an Acer laptop and that too have a DigitalPersona fingerprint reader. At the DigitalPersona site, there is a download available for Linux and it contains only a set of lib files and a registry/configuration file under the /etc/DigitalPersona/ directory.
However, Yast module for fingerprint reader does not recognize anything.
Does anyone has any idea how to proceed?

I have HP HDX 16 laptop with Win7 and openSUSE 11.1. In openSUSE, everything works fine except for the digitalpersona fingerprint reader. If anyone figures out the digitalpersona reader in openSUSE, please post your findings here!

Thanks!!
