Sorry another error : sudo mysql_secure_administration cannot be found

I could not run the mysql_secure_installation
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user ‘root’@‘localhost’ (using password: NO)
Enter current password for root (enter for none):
I know the root password should default be blank no password has be given
