What version leap 15.5 i can not get a phpMyAdmin in srv/www/htdocs/
No need. I did not write that… Do what I did and after doing so setup your mariadb. If you need help there, just let know.
Eh, talking in our BAR ( meet.opensuse.org/bar) led to this:
Run mysql_secure_installation …
It will set all for your mysq/mariadb, also the root user password for mysql. Mind, that root user is not the same as your system root user
I am very disappointed in how to run phpmyadmin I am gonna switch to DBeaver.
Why ?
How can i make the alias for phpmyadmin ??
phpMyAdmin ( the capital letters do matter ) has always worked like this. You only need to
- Have the webserver running
- Have mysql setup and running
- Have phpmyadmin installed
- Go to http://localhost/phpMyAdmin and login with
rootand the password you created in 2.
All in all this took me ~10 minutes.
I do not understand this does not work
http://localhost/phpMyAdmin
I have installed te web and lamp server and phpmyadmin.
But something has changed in 15.5 in 15.3 is was never a problem but i cannot see tthe phpmyadmin folder under srv/www/htdocs
There is none. Did you open the apache/http port in YaST Firewall?
I’ll fire up a VM with 15.5 tomorrow and repeat what I did ^^ on TW
Al bezig d’r één aan te maken.
You got a little Dutch on your English there =P
Steps taken exactly:
- Use YaST to install LAMP server pattern + phpMyAdmin
- Start / Start at boot apache2 and mariadb
- Added apache2 in firewall/public zone to open ports
- Ran
sudo mysql_secure_administrationto configure mariadb - Went to the URL
The configs for phpMyAdmin are in /etc/apache2/conf.d
The code is in /usr/share/phpMyAdmin
O bedankt ik hoef alleen maar te weten hoe ik phpMyAdmin kan openen. Ik kan de directory niet vinden via localhost
De directory staat niet onder /srv/www/docs ik lees ook niks over een alias via yast aanmaken.
You’re barking up the wrong tree. phpMyAdmin is where I told you it is. There is no need to have it in /srv/www/htdocs. It is a webapp, you cannot execute it.
Oke but how can i then show phpmyadmin by url localhost
I told you a couple of times: http://localhost/phpMyAdmin
I told you that gave error 404
One word: firewall
Why a firewall it is an access on the same local adress pc.
