You should definitely reach out to the admin@ address then, as they should be able to assist.
Created yet another ticket…
Well… it’s getting interesing.
I sent to admin@… (as before) and now got a reply from a mailing list server - complaining about message size (I added 2 small jpg for illustration).
Let’s hope it’s getting through and won’t be held “for moderation” forever.
@robert_spitzenpfeil For Bugzilla you need to send to a different email address…
See https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/page.cgi?id=get_help.html “Report Access Issues”.
It’s been 9 working days since I sent my request to the correct email address.
No change & response whatsoever.
Now my old email address is dead, so if any of the admins should ever be processing the ticket … what fun.
This process is well & truly broken.
It can’t be that it should take me more than a month to get all of my emails changed with opensuse (single sign-on !)
Send me a DM with the ticket numbers (or links to them), and I’ll nudge to see what the delay is. I’m not on the team that handles those requests, but maybe I can find out what the holdup is.
If I had got meaningful replies to any of my emails, I could give you those numbers.
Thanks for your help.
Was it just an e-mail to bugzilla-admins (from the get_help link that Malcolm provided)?
The admin@ address (for the opensuse project) should have given you a reply with a Progress ticket number, as I recall. I believe I’ve found one of those tickets (181595), but if there are others, it would be good to know those as well.
@robert_spitzenpfeil - I’ve escalated and it’s in the right team’s hands - I’m told it should take a couple more business days to get it addressed (now that it’s in the right hands). Appreciate you raising the issue - in chatting with the folks I talked to, I’m hoping we get an improved process in place for handling this kind of request in the future.
