how to prevent access to Suse 11.0

Hi, everytime my Suse 11.0 starts up, everyone can get to it.
Would someone please advise, how to put a password in, which will prevent safety from the beginning (as with Windows, Apple, other Linux)
Am new to Suse and frustrated as the features with keyring are poor described (for user, maybe not for programmers) and all attempts not working.

Thanks>:(

open Yast and go to users section. There you search for the user you actually use there’s an option for specifying the user’s password

Yeah, go into YaST and check the Users and Security section. Most likely you chose Autologin when you were installing. Not a problem, you can disable it. Hope you remembered your password.

Thanks for your advise, I managed into Yast, into User Group and Management, Default for new users and got lost there, could you please advise for one more step ?
Thanks

It’s under User settings > Expert options > Passwordless login. This is for 11.1 and I think it should be the same for 11.0.

Thanks a lot for your help,
you are really good and it works, so I am relieved and I can use Suse much more! Getting away from Windows.
It is also the first time the Forum was the best way to get help.
Appreciate very much
