How to make all applications play sound via the same output (with equalizer)?

Hi, I have installed package named ‘pulseaudio-equalizer’.
I use headphones to listen to the audio.
In volume control panel I can set default device on ‘LADSPA Plugin Multiband EQ on Built-in on Audio Analog Stero’ but then each time I listen to something (via browser, VLC, others) I have to switch manually in Apllication tab to the same ‘LADSPA Plugin Multiband EQ on Built-in on Audio Analog Stero’ and then my equalizer works.

How to set it permanently for all applications which play sound?
I use KDE.

I’m not familiar with this plugin, but have you tried configuring via pavucontrol?

I have added pavucontrol package but it’s the same. Each time default device is ‘Built-in on Audio Analog Stereo’ for each application and I have to switch it manually.

Any other suggestions?

I’m not sure. Can it be set in the pavucontrol ‘Configuration’ tab?

Under Settings -> Configure Desktop ->Hardware -> Multimedia, in both Audio Volume and Audio and Video screens, there are options for hardware settings. Something there might fix this.
Regards,

Start a multimedia application, start pavucontrol and switch in pavucontrol/playback the output for your multimedia application

No. It cannot be set.

Thanks. It seems it helped.
I moved my preferred device (LADSPA) to the top and clicked apply.
Right now my audio application use that device I want to be used.
I will test after total reboot of the system. If there are issues I’ll let you know.
