You can’t edit the profile in the way like you expect how it works. You can only edit the “Name” field which is visible as in the profiles from David and Carl. For that you need to click your profile pic-> Account-> Username
But if you like, you can add this gibberish from your last link instead of a name…but don’t expect that it will be honored by anybody…

Luckily, my comment was finally posted at Re: test - disregard - openSUSE Users - openSUSE Mailing Lists, so I now know it is User Profile for Roke Beedell - openSUSE Mailing Lists. Unfortunately, this doesn’t solve the issue this post describes, but it solves mine.
