how to install from the konsole (text mode)

hi im trying my best to learn about opensuse at 100% and i cant find how to use the konsole my (suse is with KDE 4.1) y want to learn how to install in the text mode with the Konsole i’ve know that in debian and ubuntu exits the apt get-install, apt get-update and so but those dind’t work in opensuse could you help me out and tell me what are the “commands” for it i’ve be more than thankfull if you post me all of them no just the common ones thanks

zypper is the command to use from the CLI konsole), man zypper for the
switches.
