How to create a Imagem from My Installation?

Hi all;

After installation and all configurations ended, I want to create a DVD-Image with my actual configuration.

I need this for exemple:
My system crash and need to reinstall all, then if I have a image DVD I can to do this without to do severous updates and many configurations. With a simply restore image.

dd on the command line is very easy.
