Do it from the command line it is difficult for me to explain what to

Okay now it works, did exactly like this. Thanks.
Hi,
And similarly if I need to convert back to pdf (from djvu), how can I do that? I know that djvu is more compressed and thus occupying less of the memory and a good format, in fact I liked it. So after bifurcating the pdfs, I am trying back to convert the same small files into djvu formats.
Thanks.
From pdf to djvu you can use a command line tool (in your special case
make sure it is from repository 12 to be consistent)
sudo zypper install -r 12 pdf2djvu
From djvu to pdf simply select the appropriate entry in the file menu of
djview.

Well when I run this command, it showed me the error that this package is not in the repo (may be due its version or ‘12’ in the command), so finally I installed it from Yast, it might however, now create some issue I guess (due to my especial case of version(s)’ conflict, hope not). But how do I use this particular command line tool?
And in this there is no problem now, rather it seems easy.
Thanks.

I forgot I updated my system meanwhile, so now it is in the oss repo in
12.1 and yours is 11.4, so ignore that, you have it.
pdf2djvu myoriginalpdf.pdf -o myconverteddjvufile.djvu
if your version of the command works the same as mine.
More info with
pdf2djvu --help
man pdf2djvu

I really forgot to tell you that I am using 11.4, though not a problem now.
Thanks, this single command is sufficient for me to have the files I need.
Okay, I see…
Thanks.
The only thing in this conversion is that it takes a little more time (as compared with the exact reverse process), doing page by page, like a PDF of 300 pages takes time to get compressed, though works.
Thanks.

djvu creation creation is very much cpu intensive, the reverse is not. You
might optimize somewhat by compiling for your exact model of cpu. A tiny
bit
