How to connect TATA Photon plus in OpenSUSE

Guys can you please help me with connecting TATA Photon Plus in OpenSUSE. I have been struggling with it but not getting any solution.

Gnome or KDE?

Either way
Make sure you have usb-modeswitch installed

Then check if you can configure a mobile broadband connection in the network-manager

Its YAsT on Gnome

Right now i am using version 11.0. I want to upgrade it but facing the problem with internet connection. Its a plug and play in Windows.

Open Yast > Network Devices > Network Settings

Does it tell you, you are using network manager?
You need to be, so if not, change to using it.

Then in your panel, sys tray, – manage your network connections there

11.0 !!

You should say at the outset.

11.0 is not supported any longer

You need to get to a wired connection and get yourself a 11.3 DVD

Thank you for your kindest suggestions. Bur without connecting to internet how can i get 11.3 !!!

A very interesting question, even more when considering the fact, that you are posting here “without connection to internet”.

If your “not”-connection you are using at the moment is too slow to download big files, you could also buy the DVDs.

@ Shaman
