it isn’t, why it doesn’t worked?
How can I change metadata Title?

The exiftool documentation says that AVI can only be read by exiftool but not written.

You could try to convert your AVI file with ffmpeg to a MP4 file and then try again to change “Title”.

I have a lot of files so I would like a bulk command that do not do a timeconsuming operation like convert or copy

Hi @pier_andreit

maybe give AVI MetaEdit - Download AVI MetaEdit for openSUSE a try: there’s a GUI and a CLI (what you prefer). Sadly, the Leap release is date due to Leap 42.3 :frowning: Maybe, it works, though.

manythanks, I tried the cli version and it works verywell for me
