Hi, I am trying for the first time Suse with Xfce but, now, I would like to run it with gnome.
How can I revert to Gnome from Xfce?
First, we must ask if you installed GNOME? If not, do the following:
YaST / Software / Software Management / View Button (Top Left) / Select Patterns / Under: Graphic Environments / Select x] GNOME Desktop Environment [x ] GNOME Base System / Press Accept on bottom right and allow these packages to be installed.
Once you have the GNOME desktop loaded, select the session option in the logon screen on restart and pick GNOME. I highly suggest you keep your other desktop loaded as removing one can create problems and having more than one desktop just increses your startup options.
