How to adjust the video brightness ?

My wife is yelling at that her display is too dim.

I looked all over the sections in configure/desktop and the only thing that I saw that was similar
had to do with adjusting the gamma. When I cranked it up it seemed to help but the images seem to need sharpening.

The easiest way I think, is to adjust your monitor. ( so not use openSUSE for this )
