I’m not sure where to post this question…
I’m trying to either login or create a login (at opensuse.org NOT the forums) so i can upload an idea for opensuse 11.3, but it won’t let me do either. Any idea if it’s down? (I can view pages just not do anything login related)

I was just able to login at en.opensuse.org (I’m using an English-speaking
browser of course) without difficult. Have a link you are trying or how
it is not letting you get in? I believe your forums.opensuse.org login
should be the same as the one for other OpenSUSE sites.

great ideas for future features should go into the mix through
openFATE, is that where you have been trying to enter your 11.3 idea?
see the way to enter your idea at: http://en.opensuse.org/OpenFATE
if you are logged into the forums, you are automatically logged in at
all opensuse.org addresses, so no new login is required if you go from
the forum to openFATE…

Forum and Novell login is all the same

I’m logged in to the forum now, but when I go to that page (the openFATE one) it still shows “Log in / create account” and it doesn’t show me any user-capable links (like upload) and tells me I have no access rights! AND when I click “Log in / create account” it simply reloads (or redirects) back to the openFATE page with no changes.
For example, on this page: http://en.opensuse.org/Artwork/Pixel_Pool I should supposedly see a link titled “Upload file” but there is no such link on that page!
And when I click to go here: Log in - openSUSE Wiki I’m simply redirected to openSUSE Wiki without it logging me in!!
I’m using Firefox 3.5.6 on OpenSUSE 11.1.

I did and it logged me in, but when I go back to the opensuse page, it still won’t let me upload or even show the link for it.

OK, something’s wrong with my account. I logged out, created a NEW account and THAT account can get in no problem!
To the op,
Did you validate your e-mail when you registered. According to my record when I registered it says.
“Some portions of Novell.com and other sites sponsored by Novell require that your email be validated before you can access them.”
