Argh, foiled again as I still cannot get past the login screen. Hopefully, this post gets seen by the devs and they either explain a workaround or address it in the next installation file. Thanks again, for working through this with me.

@AeonTux one other thing to try is when you boot the system is to pause the installer at grub and press the e key to edit. Use the arrow down key to get to the linuxefi line, then arrow across to remove the word quiet then press F10 to boot, that should give some screen output.

Hi Malcolm, I downloaded the latest raw.xz file and got it to attempt an actual install! However, it failed because it could not detect an encrypted hard drive. I believe someone posted about this either here or on the Reddit channel but I want to get your input on how to get past this. Thank you, in advance!
