Help Installing metasploit on Opensuse 13.2

Hi , i had try to install a frame work on Opensuse which is call metasploit ,

Here is the steps i had done :

But thing is when i run it …

i got a error message :

Thanks i’am giving a try right now ,would you mind show me how to remove the actual version i just install ,

I would imagine the installer has an uninstall option, try;


./metasploit-latest-linux-x64-installer.run --help

In your example, you were root user on your normal users Desktop, you need to run from there… :wink:

It looks like it, you need to find where you have the file and run
it…

find . -name metasploit-latest-linux-x64-installer.run

Had same issue , solved it by installing the package ncurses-devel
Hope this solves it for you as well.

Also be sure to have installed ruby :slight_smile:

*note just installed from the official page :slight_smile:

so can we assume no one is able to successfully run metasploit on openSUSE 13.2??
can anyone give a youtube link of a successfull deployment of metasploit on openSUSE 13.2?

If I remember correctly, metasploit installs in /opt. Uninstall script
should be somewhere down that path.
