I would like to completely uninstall flash and remove the binaries as well.
I have
Shockwave Flash 31.0 r0
Shockwave Flash 32.0 r0
are shown in Firefox.
No documentation seems to exist to reliably do the uninstall of a specific version, etc.

It depends on how you installed them.
If you installed with an rpm, then you should be able to remove the same way. But, I think if you installed that way, you should not have two versions.
If you installed by directly downloading the files, then I guess you have to just manually remove those files.
